Please ensure that the KYZ output wires are accessible from your utility meter before you begin. 

Next, run the K wire (red) and the Y or Z wire (yellow or black) from the KYZ output connected to your utility meter to the green terminal strip located on the side of the pulse counter. 

Then, connect the wires to terminals 3 and 4 on the pulse counter for kW pulses, or terminals 5 and 6 for kVAR pulses.
