Read the guide below to learn how to use pTrack features on our portal.

Key Steps:

  1. Login and Access Page:

    • Log in to pTrack to access the main page.

    • If the main page is not visible, toggle to the left-hand side and click on the circular pTrack button.

  2. View Peak Data:

    • Check the chance of peak today on the gauge.

    • View projections for the next six days.

  3. Projected Time of Peak:

    • Check today's projected time of peak.

    • View most recent demand and five-minute demand updates.

  4. Live Power Data:

    • Choose the type of data you want to see (5-minute, pTrack projected, IESO projected, hourly, or facility data) by clicking on the legend to add or remove views.

    • Click on individual Peak days to see the demand for each.

    • Adjust views for different time frames (one hour, one day, one week, up to one month).

  5. Market Energy Pricing:

    • View real market energy pricing.

    • Adjust views for different time frames (one hour, one day, one week, up to one month).

  6. Facility Data:

    • See the facility demand for peak days and compare it to the estimated baseline.

    • Scroll through different years if historical data is available.

  7. Additional Info:

    • Check current temperature, humidity, and wind speed for your region.

    • View estimated GA savings and GHG reduction based on performance during top five peaks.

  • Data may change as the season progresses.

  • Ensure facility data is set up correctly for accurate peak summaries.

  • Historical data may vary in different years.

  • Familiarize yourself with the different data views available.

  • Regularly check and update facility data for accurate insights.
